What is Animal Chiropractic and what can it help with?

Animal Chiropractic involves adjustment or alignment of fixated/stuck areas of the spinal column and extremities. The actual Chiropractic examination includes gait analysis, palpation of the spine and extremities, checking leg lengths, orthopedic and neurologic tests. As a four legged animal vs. a two legged animal (human) the bones are oriented in a different fashion, so motion and static palpation of these joints is of the utmost importance.

AVCA doctors have also undergone vigorous training in the skill of adjusting, and are given an extensive exam to become certified.
